Application Methods
MIXING:
Mix thoroughly with a mixing bit attached to a drill. Be careful not to use a sharp-edged bit as it may scratch the surface of the pail and cause plastic fragments to enter the material, resulting in small bumps during toweling. After mixing, EVERWALL GREEN is ready to use right out of the pail for troweling, but if you plan to use the product for spraying, then you need to add about 5% clean water and mix thoroughly (see SPRAYING below).

COLOR:
When adding EVERWALL GREEN color options, first empty the color container completely into the pail of EVERWALL GREEN. Fill the color container about one third full of clean water and shake vigorously to assure that the color is entirely expended then empty the contents into the pail. Mix as in step one above for approximately five minutes making sure the color is thoroughly blended.
Note: When using color the above steps (MIXING and COLOR) can be combined.

PREPARATION:
Putty and tape and prepare the surface of unfinished SHEETROCK or similar paper-finished plaster boards in the same way you would prepare for standard drywall finishing application. Level 4 When applying over painted surfaces be sure all surfaces are dry, clean, and free of grease before applying EVERWALL GREEN. If blemishes from underneath the painted surface are prevalent, use of a sealer may be necessary.
Note: A SEALER IS NOT REQUIRED WHEN USING EVERWALL GREEN ON NEW PLASTERBOARD.
TROWELING:
The wavy trowel pattern is the signature texture of EVERWALL GREEN and highly recommended. It is excellent for hiding wall imperfections, irregularities and poorly taped joints. The drying time of EVERWALL GREEN is very forgiving. It sets and begins to harden in approximately 10 minutes so take care not to overwork the material. Trowel the material on freely and create a wave- like pattern as you go along. It cures to about 85% of its final hardness after 24 hours.
Note: After mixing, EVERWALL GREEN is ready to use right out of the pail for troweling, unless you are adding color, which needs to be selected first. See instructions under the above ‘COLOR’ heading.
SPRAYING:
A spraying device such as the type used for spraying drywall texture or ‘mud’ is suitable for applying EVERWALL GREEN. Adequate compression is essential as EVERWALL GREEN has a much thicker consistency than paint. Dilute the material to desired consistency adding approximately 5% clean water. Mix thoroughly before applying. Experimenting with various nozzle tips will render various degrees of flatness; from ‘orange peal’ to rougher textures.
The use of clean water is needed as EVERWALL GREEN is preservative-free. Bacteria-tainted water may rapidly degrade the material.
COVERAGE:
When applied with a trowel or sprayed Everwall Green will cover a flat surface area of approximately 25 sq. meters or 270 sq. ft.
