Whether you are building a new home, whether you’re considering buying or renovating an older one, or whether you are simply looking to paint the walls of house you live in now consider this:
NOTHING YOU CAN DO TO IMPROVE YOUR HOME WILL GREATER IMPACT THE QUALITY OF YOUR LIFE THAN IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF THE AIR YOU BREATH THERE.
EVERWALL GREEN is the world’s most environmentally friendly wall treatment containing Kelzyme, the healthiest enzyme-active, calcium/mineral deposit ever discovered.
EVERWALL GREEN excels at absorbing odors, formaldehyde, and most all VOC toxins. These gasses are neutralized and released in an inert state via the unique combination of synergistic enzyme activity and photo-catalytic properties found only in EVERWALL GREEN.
EVERWALL GREEN is one of the most efficient regulators of humidity via wall surface area ever developed. With a hygroscopic response far exceeding anything in its class it effectively protects your interior environment against dangerous condensation and moisture accumulation.
It is manufactured in an easy-to-use paste form that requires no mixing of messy powders, enabling a high degree of workability which can be finished neatly into a variety of surface shapes and textures.
Its finished texture is durable while offering an aesthetically pleasing softness to the touch and to the eye.
EVERWALL GREEN can be applied directly over gypsum plaster boards and SHEETROCK without a drywall primer. Thanks to its superlative natural adhesive properties it can even be applied directly over most existing wall coverings including painted surfaces, wall paper, and even vinyl cloth wallpapers.
Light soiling of a non-penetrative type can be cleaned off easily with a wet cloth and common dishwashing detergent.
When one thinks of pollution the mind is likely to conjure up images of an outdoor scene of dreary gray landscapes littered with chimneys pumping smoke into the sky. Or massive traffic jams of diesel trucks and buses belching deadly fumes.
Then it will probably come as great surprise you to know that the air in the room you are in which you are sitting at this very moment likely poses a far greater threat to your health than any pollution your mind’s eye could possibly imagine. In the words of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency "Indoor air is three times more polluted than outdoor air, and is now considered to be one of the top 5 of the hazards to human health.”
IAQ is an acronym we are beginning to see more and more often. It stands for Interior Air Quality. An ever growing number of studies on the dangers of unhealthy IAQ have recently begun to receive the media attention they deserve. Governments around the developed world are waking up to what is quickly being recognized as a problem on a scale likened to that of a nation wide epidemic. The root causes are many. They can be traced to volatile organic compounds (VOC’s) in paints, adhesives, toxic fabrics, furniture and a host of the common things that make up your home’s interior and exterior. It is a largely a crisis resulting from the trend to build with cheaper, mass-produced building materials fabricated with little or no regard for their long-term impact on health. It was born of the ‘need’ to create virtually air tight buildings which, in the name of ‘energy efficiency,’ end up trapping their inhabitants in a lethal environment of toxins and bacteria.
Modern buildings have simply not been engineered to effect in any way the elimination of internal, and as well as external, gases. On the contrary, these gases often emanate from the very materials of which the buildings are constructed in the first place.
Let’s take a look at is the most basic component of the house itself, your walls. For over four decades nearly all the homes in North America have been constructed of drywall. Unlike the traditional hand-toweled plasters of your Grandma’s house this surface basically consists of paper stuck to chalk. It is a great way to keep building costs down. It is also an excellent medium for the incubation of bacteria. You see the conventional method of painting or wall-papering this surface keeps it from ‘breathing’ and in effect creates a very efficient vapor barrier. And that’s not a good thing. This barrier gives rise to extreme condensation and then traps it inside. As the moisture from behind and inside the wall material has no place to escape it builds up, providing the most ideal conditions imaginable for the growing of mold and bacteria. To make matters worse, the low grade paper backing serves itself up as the perfect food for these bacteria.
Comprehensive studies have now conclusively identified bacteria and gasses as the direct cause of the horrific condition known as ‘Sick Building Syndrome’. SBS happens when your immune system is no longer able to contend with the onslaught of VOC’s, Formaldehyde, mold, bacteria and the potpourri of other nasty things comprising the ‘chemical soup’ that has become the very air we breathe. It’s what happens when your body simply gives up the fight to repel these and your immune system just goes on strike, or worse, shuts down forever. In seeking a more palatable way to describe this disease the building industry has cleverly coined the term ‘compromised; immune system’. You may have seen the warning label on building supplies which reads “not recommended for individuals with compromised immune systems.” It would seem a sad effort at a disclaimer long overdue. In the past decade alone, hundreds of thousands of individuals now have developed ‘compromised’ immune systems and are full-blown suffers of SBS. But though the focus is being directed to this extreme medical condition, it would serve well to note that literally MILLIONS MORE are plagued with the evil little brother of SBS, Building Related Illness (BRI). Chronic hay fever, allergies, asthma and a growing list of diseases of the respiratory tract fall under this heading. The Mayo clinic estimates that 37,000,000 Americans now suffer from sinusitis. And the situation is getting worse. Check out the internet. The list is long. And growing……
‘The Ministry of Health Canada and the EPA in the United States have made direct links between polluted indoor spaces and a variety of health problems. The EPA found that on average pollution indoors can be 6 to 10 times higher than the outside air in most cities.’ Discovery Channel
‘A recent Mayo Clinic Study completed in 2006 found that 96% of chronic sinus infections were caused by molds in the home. Molds have also been implicated in other non-allergy related illnesses..
Some 20 million Americans suffer from asthma a figure which has doubled in the last ten years, and another 50 million have allergies. Roughly 10 million suffer from both,’ Mike Tringale, director of marketing and communication for the Asthma and Allergy Foundation.
"In Florida, vinyl wallpaper is a disaster. It serves as a barrier and warm air condenses on the inside of the walls” Rebecca Morley, executive director for the National Center for Healthy Housing”

The number of chronic asthma sufferers in Britian has reached 5,000,000 in a country of 50 million. This represents an increase of six fold in the last two decades; with asthma rates in children double those of less advanced European countries.
